Box Elder's and Bear River's Swim Lesson Programs are some of the best.
This summer, BEHS will teach approximately 800 swimmers in their lesson program. They have twenty-two swim teachers this year. BRHS will teach approximately 640 swimmers and have fourteen swim teachers.
One of the things that have made their programs so successful is the teacher/participant ratio. They keep the student per class numbers down so there is more one on one instruction. This benefits the kids as they have more opportunities to learn from their swim teachers.
More lesson information can be found on their websites:
BEHS at www.swimboxelder.com
BRHS at https://sites.google.com/besd.net/bearrivernatatorium/swim-lessons

Good news coming your way for the 2025-26 school year!
The school board approved the 2025-26 School Fee Schedule which included no general class fee, no student body fees, and no individual class fee. This change will decrease registration fees for all students. (Other fees still remain.)
Check out the link for more information about school fees. We appreciate our school board for this decision and the impact it will have on easing financial burdens for families and supporting student success across our district. #StrongerTogetherBESD2026 #ConnectAndCommunicateBESD2026
