100 DAYS OF SCHOOL
Natalie Hannum
Megan Crandall I want to express my deep appreciation for my classroom paraprofessional, Megan Crandall, and to recognize the truly outstanding work she does each and every day. Miss Megan is the kind of person every teacher hopes to work alongside. She consistently goes above and beyond expectations, noticing what needs to be done and taking initiative without needing direction. Whether it's supporting students, organizing materials, or stepping in to help during transitions, she anticipates the needs of the classroom and acts with purpose and care. This kind of proactive support is not only rare—it’s invaluable. Her kindness and compassion shine in everything she does. The students are naturally drawn to her, and it's clear that they feel safe, supported, and loved in her presence. She builds strong, positive relationships with all learners, which contributes to a nurturing and productive classroom environment. Beyond her work with students, Miss Megan also plays a key role in mentoring and training other paraprofessionals. She leads by example and is always willing to offer guidance or share effective strategies with those around her. Her leadership has had a noticeable impact on our team and the overall functioning of our support staff. Simply put, I could not accomplish all that needs to be done in our classroom without her. She is not just a support to the students—she is a support to me, to the other staff, and to our entire learning community. I am incredibly grateful to work with such a dedicated, skilled, and compassionate professional. Megan is truly one of a kind. Sincerely, Natalie Hannum
