I am proud to recognize the exceptional impact of our adult education counselor Kelly Sorensen, whose boundless energy and enthusiasm creates a dynamic and supportive environment for all learners. With a unique ability to make even the most challenging topics engaging and accessible, this counselor empowers adult students to overcome obstacles, build confidence, and develop the skills necessary for lifelong success.
Her commitment to fostering a culture of continuous learning is evident in her proactive and preventative approach to supporting students. She implements skill development programs, interventions, data collection, and progress monitoring with unwavering optimism, ensuring that every student receives individualized attention and guidance.
Beyond direct student support, Kelly is an invaluable resource for colleagues. She helps other counselors in our cone meetings, and shares best practices with others.
Always willing to embrace new opportunities and innovative approaches, Kelly demonstrates genuine care for each individual’s journey. Her dedication to her school team and community is a cornerstone of her program’s success, and her positive influence is felt throughout her school and our district.
